Earth Craft by Jeslyn Z.

Materials:1 balloon, newspaper, green and blue paint, pencil, scissors, bowl of paste, bowl. Instructions: Blow up the balloon. Then, using the scissors, cut the newspaper into strips. Dip the strips into the paste bowl. Put glue-dipped strips on the balloon until you can't see any of the balloon. After it dries, lightly sketch the shapes of the continents with your pencil. Lastly, paint the continents green and the water blue. (For creativity, draw a face on the earth globe, such as a happy face, a "feeling cool" face, where you just add sunglasses, or an "I'm melting from global warming!" face). Warning: This could be a messy project! Remember to wear a smock or dirty shirt, and cover your working area with paper towels or newspapers.

'Good-To-The-Environment Tree' Craft by Jeslyn Z. & Isabella J.

Materials: paper towel roll, craft sticks(reuse Popsicle sticks and use them instead of craft sticks!), green construction paper, scissors. Instructions:Tape the sticks to the paper towel roll so that you make tree branches. Then cut the paper into small leaf shapes. Then, whenever you do something good for the environment (like recycling something or picking up litter), write what you did on one of the"leaves", then tape/paste it on the branches so you have leaves! When the tree is full of leaves, that shows that you are good to the environment!

Keep Track of Your Garbage Craft by Jeslyn Z.

Materials: construction paper;1 green, 1 white, and 1 black, scissors, paper, any coloring tools, paper, stapler or tape. Instructions: Cut a 2 or 3 inch wide strip across the long way on each construction paper. In the middle of the green strip, write, ' recycle' . In the middle of the white strip, write, ' trash'. In the middle of the black strip, write, ' litter. Then take the green strip and put the two ends together, to form a ring. Staple or tape the two ends together. Do the same for the other ones. Cut 3 circles with the three construction papers that would block an opening of the rings you formed. Tape or staple it to one of each ring. With the paper, cut little squares out of it. If you want, you can color them. Now whenever you litter, you take a square and put it in the 'litter' bin. When you throw away something, you put a square into the 'trash' bin. When you recycle something, you put a square into the 'recycle' bin. Now you can keep track of your garbage!
